This is a very fine George III antique mahogany bon-heur-du-jour writing desk / cabinet. The super structure is inlaid and has panelled doors housing two drawers and eight pigeon holes as well as a large shelf. The large drawer in the table with two ornate brass ring handles house a green leather writing slope and three compartments.
Recently repolished but all original aside from this.
