Superb Large Edwardian 18ct Gold Sapphire Diamond Marquise Ring. This stunning Ring has a high quality dark deep blue sapphire marquise cut stone measuring 11mm x 4mm to the centre. The sapphire is surrounded by 16 old diamonds of between 2 and 3mm so at least 3 or points each totally at least 0.50ct minimum which are very bright white and sparkly. All the stones are very well set in a lovely old claw setting of the highest quality. The ring is in absolutely excellent antique condition and has a good weight. The shoulders have beautiful details and the hallmarks are clear for 18ct gold Chester 1908 and dates to the Edwardian period. Superior quality ring with hardly any wear,  lovely carved shoulders and on a thick high quality band of 18ct gold. The total face of the marquis shape face is 20mm x 10mm. Size UK K and U.S Size 5 1/4  the total weight is 4.2g.
